I was surprised from the moment I walked into Yuki Handroll Bar. Every seat is a bar seat in a horseshoe around the chefs. There are only 20 seats and they were all taken except one when I came in the door 30 minutes before closing. Their place is on Bee Cave Parkway near 360 in the same shopping strip as The Grove.
I got the 4 roll combo: crab, salmon, tuna, and a daily special roll which was yellowtail. For $20 Iβd says itβs a good deal, although you can certainly spend much more adding items a la carte.
Some of the nigiri I saw being served looked fantastic! I didnβt order any but the chef gifted me a piece before I left, which was wonderful.
Yuki has been open about a month and still in soft open mode. No menu online yet, I took a picture of the order sheet if youβre curious on the pricing and options.
There was only one person working as host/order taker/cashier for the whole bar so it took some patience, but once the chefs got an order they were very efficient.
I donβt think Austin has a restaurant that specializes in hand rolls so Yuki may find its niche. Looks like theyβre off to a good start.

You didn’t have to wait too long?
Jeezus, $15 for 1 piece of Uni. It’s my favorite piece to order but i can’t justify that much for 1 pc.
This place is pretty dope
Is that a piece of nigiri? Smaller, please.
