As a vegan, I’m committed to supporting others on their journey towards a plant-based lifestyle. One challenge my friends and I often face is finding restaurants with suitable veggie options, particularly when we’re traveling or exploring new places. While we love and use HappyCow, we realized that its reliance on crowdsourced information could be limiting. To address this, I created an app that can take any restaurant and attempt to assess how veggie friendly it is.
🥦 Restaurant Rankings: Easily finds and compares restaurants in your area based on their vegetarian and vegan options.
🌱 Color-Coded Menus: When you click on a restaurant, you’ll see its menu on UberEats with items color-coded for your convenience. Items matching your plant-based preference are highlighted in green.
🏙️ Currently supporting certain restaurants in limited locations: San Francisco, New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta, Toronto, and Santa Ana.
**Most importantly** – I really want to make “VeggieEats” the best app for our community. Try out the app and let me know what you think – the good, the bad and the ugly. Your feedback will shape future updates and improvements.
