Samgyetang, or ginseng chicken soup, is easily one of our favourite Korean dishes. Whenever we visit Seoul, we make it a point to have samgyetang at least once, if not twice.
Our favourite place used to be Tosokchon, but it was displaced by Jang An, which itself has been superceded by Baek Nyeon Baekse. Their samgyetang with deulkkaegaru (perilla seed powder) was a totally new experience for us, as was the deep-fried fresh ginseng.
Will definitely be back there on our next trip to Seoul.
