Crispy Fried Pork Chopsby ketoLifestyleRecipes 1 Comment ketoLifestyleRecipes 2 years ago **Crispy Fried Pork Chops**Here is a video version if you are interested: [https://youtu.be/SWiXRy657DU](https://youtu.be/SWiXRy657DU)**Brine Ingredients:**3 TBSP kosher salt3 TBSP Swerve brown4 cups water1 sprig fresh thyme1 smashed garlic clove**Ingredients:**2 – ¾” bone in pork chops1 tsp. onion salt1 tsp. garlic powder1 tsp. fresh cracked pepper¼ cup carbalose flourOil for frying**Directions:**Dissolve the salt and Swerve Brown in the 4 cups of water.Place the pork chops, thyme and clove in a Ziploc bag, pour in the brine.Seal the bag, burping out the air as you seal.Rest in the fridge for 2 hours.Drain the chops in a colander.**Prep The Seasoning:**Place the onion powder, garlic powder, pepper and flour into a paper bag.Add the pork chops to the bag and shake to evenly coat.Rest on a plate while the oil heats up.**Frying the pork chops:**Using a heavy cast iron pan or Dutch oven, heat about an inch of oil to 350°.Fry the chops to a crispy golden brown, flipping once.Serve warm with caulimac N’ cheese on the side.Chayote applesauce goes well with the crispy chops too.**Notes:**My oil of choice is a refined coconut oilWrite A CommentYou must be logged in to post a comment.
