Besides the annoyance of Q not stopping at last stop, I would say it was a successful beach day and glad I checked out Samarkand supermarket. Takes gut to be sandwiched between Netcost and Tashkent. Which is your preference and what so you get there? I still give T the head’s up on cooked food and bread counter, but S’s prices are cheaper I feel.

Brighton beach is underrated. So many food options and super affordable too. I love Tashkent, their shawarma is 10. Never tried Samarkand,definitely will give a chance next time.
Piroshki lady is a must try.
I was just at Brighton Beach the other day. Both those markets are good, but I gotta give the edge to Tashkent. Nowadays, whenever I go to Brighton, stopping at Tashkent Mkt first to load up on snacks is mandatory. Every time I try different stuff so I can’t say that I have an absolute go to snack.
