When I first saw the smaller photo, I thought these were hot dogs. Damn, I could use a good hot dog right now.

How do you eat these? I’ve never had one but they look messy as hell. Knife and fork? Pick up the whole thing and eat like a taco?

I went here recently. I think the machetes were 19? And the tacos were 5 dollars each. I got their tacos and they were so bad, the meat was cut into huge chunks and tasted like bbq sweet taco meat and the salsa was drastically water down like soup and the meat had a old taste. They came out on these taco holders too. need to try their machetes though as I heard good things. But with those prices i was not thrilled.

Went here for first time today. I liked it. Tortillas are good and the chicken and pastor was good. The machetes were $20 and the tacos $7. Big ol tacos but still kind of pricey. The cook gave me a lemonade, and it was awesome. The dragonfruit was also pretty amazing. I’d go back.

OK, so Aparicios, Dona Leova, Casita Nicole, where else serves Machetes? I haven’t tried Aparicios but I way prefer Dona Leova to Casita Nicole.
Who is the Machete Master in Austin? Where are the very best? Dona Leova is LEGIT, but I also thought Casita was great until I tried Dona, so I’m sure there could be even better ones out there.
