Ok, I have been gardening for a while and I grow tomatoes, beans, peas, cabbage and a bunch of others. I have never tried growing potatoes before and these potatoes in particular came from two seed potatoes I planted in a crappy spot of the garden with less sun and not the best soil and they flopped over and dried up a few weeks ago so I wasn’t expecting much of anything. EXECPT I got 1.5 pounds of potatoes from them. I’m making dinner tonight and everything is from the garden or fish I caught so I figured let’s just see. The other 15 potato plants are all still green and some are still flowering so I can only imagine what kind of harvest I will pull from those!

Yum!
Well done 😊
Potato plants are like little garden loot boxes, you’re never quite sure how many you’re going to harvest and it’s always exciting!
Also you might find your tubers grow larger on the other plants if you pluck the flowers off (or at least don’t let them go to seed)
Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew
Yasss!!! Taterssss
Yummy
