First time making English Muffins. Is there an easy way to knowing it’s done all the way through?

Any chance the recipe recommends an internal temperature? I got LOTS better when I pivoted away from time and towards temperature

A few options here – you could do a tester, I find that low & slow until they crisp/brown on the top and bottom and lose the translucency on the sides

Alternatively when in doubt, you can always temp them – I get a meat thermometer and it should be around 190F

Temp it with a thermometer. It should be between 190F – 210F.

Use a toothpick to check whether the dough is cooked through. Push it into the side and see whether it’s wet with dough when you pull it out.

Stick the center with a toothpick, if it comes out clean, they’re done.
