One of my absolute favorites in LA! They’re getting better and better in my opinion; this menu was so good and its incorporation of Asian ingredients (pig ear, fish maw, sticky rice, etc) was much appreciated. Hoping they get two stars in the near future!

Chinese pinyin is meant to be a pronunciation system. This is like putting fwa ɡʁɑ instead of foie gras on a French menu.

  10. Fuck. I can’t wait for the strike to end. I am frankly getting sick of coming up with stuff to cook for dinner every night.

Man trash asf that’s why I love this page show me how scrawny the portions are 😂 I mean ofc you’ll pay for an experience and special food options but cmon small ass portions

It’s weird seeing the cha shao/char siu being made with beef, since it literally means “roast pork.” I love wagyu and all, but why call it something it’s not?

Also, why do they only have pinyin on the menu but not the actual words, or even the English translations? It’s like a Japanese menu only listing romaji for the dish names, like “kare-raisu” instead of 「カレーライス」or “curry rice.”
