Skewers and coconut pancakes from that little Thai vendor at the Hollywood farmer’s market
The satay here was better than at most of the Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Coconut pancakes were decent. Great snack option for when you’re produce shopping

There’s a really good stand called Mae Ting’s that sits just outside of LAX-C (“Thai Costco”) in Chinatown. Open weekends. The coconut cakes are heaven on earth

Are those Starbucks egg sous vide bites on the left?

Those little UFO-looking things are called Kanom Krok, and they are among the planet’s most delicious things. The only other place I know that sells them is Bhan Kanom Thai in the Thai Town Plaza. If you like coconut, you have to try them.

It’s been years, but I used to have those coconut cakes, chicken sticks, and oysters every Sunday at the Hollywood farmers market.
