Brooklyn Pie – Gratuity PLUS Tip? Who does this go to? Happy to tip a solid 20% or better but online orders get charged an automatic “gratuity” of 15% plus there is an option to tip on top of that. Anyone work there that can shed some light?

The way I see it is any automatic gratuity *is* the tip to cover the “see I’m not an asshole” fee . Anything on top of that is charity and not mandatory.
Tip creep is trying to catch hold everywhere. 15% auto “grat” for online ordering and pickup is bullshit. Kindly suggesting an additional tip is asinine.
Geezus this shit has gotta be stopped. Adding a Tip for a fucking pickup order. I’d eat the Pie then call my credit card company disputing the charge. Just because
15% mandatory tip on 1st half of the pie, 15% mandatory tip on 2nd half of the pizza– them probably.
Talk about burying the lead…
