Can you freeze san marzano’s that have split from the rain?
Mine are ripening one at a time so I have 2 fully ripe but they have cracks in them

Too much rain 🙁

You can freeze tomatoes that have split, just cut the split and bad parts out before freezing when you core them.
Unless, of course they are rotting.

I am freezing mine in a Ziploc bag that I keep adding to. I break off the stem and then cut in half to make sure there is no black rot hiding inside (which seems to be a thing for me). I cut out any yucky spots in the outside as well.
