Found the Lazeez Mediterranean Cafe out at 620 & 2222 near the Thundercloud Subs that’s been at Four Points for as long as I can remember.
I’m not calling Lazeez a hole in the wall, but it’s quaint, casual, modestly priced and somehow I’ve never noticed it in almost three years since it opened.
According to the order taker their second location is opening next month. I spotted that one at 620 & Parmer Lane where Sonic used to be as soon as they put up the sign.
Their specialties are Arabic BBQ, Shawarma, gyro – the Mediterranean staples.
Got the Chicken shish tawook plate. Took 10-15 minutes for the grilling, my only regret was not ordering some lentil soup for the wait. Shawarma/gyro is a much faster order if you’re not about the wait.
The chicken was excellent, very well spiced, tender and juicy. Came on rice with hummus, tabbouleh and pita. Hit the spot.
Plates are $13, wraps are $9. That’s a good deal these days. 👍

This looks amazing! That is legit Lebanese style tabbouleh and the hummus looks so good.
One of my favorite lunch places. I finally like tibula (sp)
Looks awesome!!! Thanks for posting, added to my list =)
looks bangin’. Good portion size too.
Looks great except for that poor excuse for garlic sauce. Toum is so much better.
Nice
Quaint? /i/ drove by there yesterday and it is so modern-looking, I had no idea it was open. Looked like a huge, glass-steel building.
Now that I know though, I will go thanks. Oh sad, this new huge building is the 620-Parmer one, well I am ready for it.
How was the hummus?
Lazeez is legit. Can confirm
Looks boring as all get out but for $13 I’m all for it. I approve this post. 4 green peppers, would recommend to friends colleagues and family.
