Does anyone else like to season their ketchup?


It taste so much better to me. I can’t eat it without. Wondering if anyone else is the same. It’s just salt & pepper.

    I salt my ketchup instead of my fries. The salt falls off the fries, but if I salt my ketchup.. perfection.

    I do the exact same thing. HEB sells a ketchup with the pepper already in it.

    I like cooking a lot of different foods, so naturally I have a lot of sauces.

    Lately I’ve favoured making my own. I’m not talking about making ketchup from scratch, I’m talking about adapting and mixing ketchup, mayo, mustard, sort, Sriracha etc plus spices and herbs, sour cream/yoghurt to whatever I’m cooking.

    It’s rare I just squirt something on nowadays, it all goes in the sauce bowl.

    I have little reusable sauce bottles too if I want to have some good stuff handy.

    Scorpion pepper salt.

    You don’t need much.

    I do the same thing. Seasoning doesn’t fall of the French fries.

    I don’t eat ketchup but when I was a kid I did. I’d swirl it around with Cajun seasoning and cracked peppercorn
