Fried shrimp sandwich

    Recipe
    Ingredients
    – 8 large shrimps
    – About a litre of oil
    – 2 ts smoked paprika
    – 1 ts onion powder
    – 1 ts garlic powder
    – 1,5 ts oregano
    – pinch of salt
    – 1 dl kefir (0,4 cup)
    – 1 dl(0,4 cup) flour
    – 1 dl(0,4 cup) panko breadcrumbs
    – Some lettuce, tomato and onions for the sandwich
    – Brioche bun
    For the sauce
    – 2 tbs mayo
    – 1 ts dijon
    – 1 ts worcester sauce
    – 1,5 ts franks red hot
    – 1 tbs diced onion
    – 1-2 garlic cloves, grated
    – 1 tbs pickles, chopped
    – 1 ts smoked paprika
    – pinch of salt
    – half ts sugar
    – 1,5 ts dill
    Method
    1. Combine ingredients for the sauce and taste for seasoning.
    2. Pat the shrimps dry with a paper towl, ad the spices and mix. Ad kefir and mix again. Let sit for 10-15 minutes before frying. (Not much longer. If you want to prep in advance ad the seasoning but wait with the kefir.)
    3. Mix flour, breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt together in a bowl.
    4. Heat up the oil in a pan to 190C (375F)
    5. Toss the shrimps around in the flour mixture and be sure to cover them thoroughly. No wet spots.
    6. Ad them to the oil and fry until they are crispy and beautifull golden brown. About 3 minutes. Drain on a paper towl.
    7. Sauce the bun. Ad thinly sliced lettuce, tomato and onions. Then ad your beautifull shrimps and some more sauce and enjoy.
