    1 lbs ground beef

    1 lbs ground pork

1 6 oz can tomato paste

2 29 oz cans low sodium tomato sauce

    1 10.75 can tomato puree

2 envelopes Thick & zesty spaghetti sauce mix

    1 envelope onion soup mix

    1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

    3 tablespoons granulated garlic

    2 tablespoon granulated onion

    2 teaspoons dried minced onion

    1 teaspoon dried minced garlic

2 teaspoons medium red taco sauce

1 tablespoon Better Than Bullion beef (low sodium)

    1 teaspoon brown sugar

    3 tablespoons ketchup

    1 tablespoon Heinz chili sauce

    1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

    3 tablespoons gochujang

    2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

    1/2 teaspoon fish sauce

2 teaspoons of calabrian chilies (in oil)

    2 teaspoons chili flakes

    1 tablespoon sambal oelek

    Salt and Pepper to taste

Brown the beef and pork together. Add salt and pepper breaking the meat up as you go.

Add the tomato paste and cook for a few minutes, stirring it into the meat.

Add 1 can of tomato sauce, tomato puree, the packet seasonings, Italian seasoning, onion, garlic to the pan, turn down to medium low.

When all of the meat mixture is cooked, add to the slowcooker.

Add the other cans to the slowcooker turn on high then add the remaining ingredients.

After 3 hours turn slowcooker to low and cook overnight. This is where you should definitely taste for seasoning and make any adjustments. You should also check again in the morning or afternoon for any final adjustments, you may need to add some water.

If the sauce is too thick towards the end it’s great to use some of the pasta water.

Prepare spaghetti noodles per box instructions, pour some sauce over noodles, you will have plenty of leftover sauce.

    Prep Time : 30 minutes

    Cook Time : 22 hours

Yield : 6 servings with leftover sauce
