You're awesome, new subscriber here. I am going to create these for the first time ever. I have never attempted this for some reason, but when I do I know they will be perfect now with your guidance. Strawberry patch by me is active now, going to make these for my 4th wedding anniversary. 4th anniversary is celebrated by fruit, and my wife loves chocolate covered strawberries. I love when a good plan comes together, thanks!
I just made these for the 1st time, using semi sweet chips because that's what I had. So easy following your simple instructions. I watched a few videos, and you were the only one who mentioned waiting for the chocolate to cool down to 90゚. I used them to decorate my cheesecake. They turned out amazing. You are a godsend! Today is Thanksgiving, so thank you!
Love your videos, Laura. However, if you understand just a tiny bit of physics, you should know that it is impossible to "scorch" your chocolate, as long as there is even a drop of water in the pan. And it doesn't matter if the bowl is touching the water. With any double boiler, your cooking temp is always limited to the boiling temp of water. That is 197 degrees at my home, but it might be as high as 212 degrees at yours.
I am a ten year old who did this by her self (and yes i did get permition to turn on the stove on and boil it.) And it came out soooo good my cousins will love this especially my sister's new born i would rate this a 1010 experience ❤️😍🥳🎉
