I’ve been canning peaches in simple syrup in small batches from one tree in my yard. When they are cooled it seems like the float to the top of the jar. Any advice?

    That always happens with pretty much anything whole, I’ve found. Just enjoy those beautiful cans!

    I get a lot of peach and apricot floatation too. I’ve been working with hot pack, and regular mouth jars, to attempt reducing bouancy.
