You won’t be able to get enough of this delicious Coconut Shrimp recipe! Shredded coconut mixed with panko breadcrumbs creates the most satisfying crunch when you bite into them. Dipped in the sweet chili sauce, the sweetness of the coconut balances with the spicy sauce perfectly.

  4. I made this dish tonight and it was fantastic. I did, however, make a couple of slight modifications. First, I used unsweetened coconut since I had also made a slightly spicy sweet and sour plum sauce for dipping (and I thought the additional sweetness of sweetened coconut would be a bit baroque), and I added a pinch of Chinese five-spice powder to the beaten egg. Everything else was by the book and the book was a bestseller.

  5. I live in Veracruz, Mexico and we are a very tropical city, we eat a lot of shrimp here and i want to learn how to make this recipe, i hope it turns out as crunchy as yours. Saludos desde mexico!!!💙

  7. I was at a grocery store for like an hour trying to find shredded coconut. I refused to ask for guidance, because I'm that sort of stubborn.
After searching the baking, produce, dry goods, and canned goods isle, I gave up, and settled on just panko and coconut flower.
I went home defeated, but still inspired to cook. I got ingredients together, did a quick search for a few recipes. Then my mind was blown when I realized I never thought to look in the nut isle for coconuts…
Anyway, thats how I came up with my recipe for mostly coconutless coconut shrimp….

  9. hello chef. 10. OK, so, at a hibachi buffet, I've had the most delicious coconut chicken! It had this delicious white coconut sauce over it and I wanna try to duplicate that!

But I tried to make it using a recipe I found online, and unfortunately it didn't taste good. (It also had lime in it which is gross to me).

Do you have any coconut chicken recipes?
