I followed your way of glazing the bottom of the pan by just using melted butter and brown sugar (without melting the sugar). My pineapple caramalised perfectly! Thank you!
Made this cake for the first time today. I’ve never made upside pineapple cake before (never even tried it before), and gotta say it was incredible. First time tried maraschino cherries too and while they were a bit too sweet, it matched with the pineapples perfectly.
