A taste of summer throughout the winter.

I’m always glad by the time jelly and jam season is over. Lol. I have a 600 sq ft garden, and I am so over canning by September. Sadly, here in Georgia we had a freakishly cold snap for five days last December where the wind chill was -10 Fahrenheit. It caused my muscadines and blackberries not to produce this summer. It was such a bummer. It also killed my potted fig trees! I’ve only made elderberry jelly and jalapeño jelly this year.

Still going strong here! I’ve got a ton more to do. Grapes should be ready to pick at the end of the month:)
