You are my hero! Made greek salad twice already using your recipe and it’s a hit. I have to make it 2x a week now😊. Thank you for sharing your recipe, chef! I enjoy your cool and friendly personality! All the best!
Hello John, I made this incredible salad to accompany your magnificent Spanakopita last night, and it was a big hit! I wonder, can you make a playlist or video of what you would recommend for a Greek mezze party platter?
This salad is so money bro.
NICE !
I love olives and feta cheese in my salads. I don't care what kind of salad it is, it's always better with feta cheese and olives.
with that much oil and heavy dressing, it definitely cannot help a bit in weight loss program
Έλα είσαι Έλληνας ; Feta or try μυζήθρα – myzythra from Crete
That's a heavenly salad. I've made it several times. Don't know why i stopped? Thanks for reminding me.
Lemon and mustard?🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
i really love Greek salads. Thank you so very much for sharing this video and keep sharing more and more. A lot of love from planet ayurveda
Here is a hint. Feta cheese is usually preserved in brine. Add a spoonful to your salad and it the flavor will skyrocket!
You toss the salad like a pro, almost like you have tossed salads since you were a child.

Shopska salad https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shopska_salad
Dressing 3:24:
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 lemon zest
1 tsp fresh thyme
2 tbsp fresh oregano
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp honey mustard
1/2 lemon juice (2tbsp)
1/2 tsp salt
This needs the olives and feta to round out it's flavor.
I'm going to try that dressing and use it on other things. It sounds SO GOOD.
Marvellous looking salad thank you for sharing.

What brand of feta are you using? I will be making this tomorrow with some steamed fish. Thanks for sharing.
I make a Greek salad about every day except I only use cucumbers, tomatoes, basil, and olives, along with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I’m not a fan of any of the other ingredients, but people look at me crazy when I tell them that an original Greek salad doesn’t actually have lettuce in it!!!!
Looking delicious 👍
Can’t wait to make it 😊
Thanks so much for yummy recipe 👍
❤thanks for sharing yummo
Ok Greek boy .. I see you 👀 😂
I don't know why Im watching these recipes since I'm greek. But since I'm here, I have to say that you salad is very dry , also I 've noticed that everyone makes a dressing for greek salad. We don't do that, we just add olive oil(a lot of oil!!!!), salt and maybe oregano (fresh or dry)directly in the bowl and let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes so the sauce from the tomatos and oil will mix together. You don't have to do this extra step with the dressing. Salads are easy. Also I've never known any greek that adds lemon in a greek salad, only in green salads with lettuce etc, you can use vinegar(personally I hate it). Also you can place a whole slice of feta in the salad, when you mix all the ingredients it will crumble naturally. However, to each his own. You can make it any way you prefer. I'm just saying 😛
extra tip: we need a lot of oil so that we can make the so called papara, which is a piece of bread in the bottom of the bowl, you let it soak in the oil and then you eat it! DELICIOUS!!! So add a lot of oil, at least half a glass.
I made this salad tonight and it turned out delicious!! My partner is now a big fun of salads and loved it, she even repeated. Thank you so much for sharing your dishes and explaining so easy to understand. Not the first recipe I have made with your videos!
What can you replace the wine with if you don’t have any?
Also, if I had to buy some, what’s a good choice? Don’t know anything about wine ! I’m 😮😂
