  1. Hi Laura! I am honored that you cook something from my culture. In Cyprus we call them "koupepia" and we usually fill them with tomato sauce, rice and minced meat or just rice and tomato sauce! I will try your recipe too! Thank you for your great recipes! Greetings form Cyprus!

  2. Hello Laura I'm Palestinian and grapes leaves are a main dish in our culture And we cook them with meat or chicken 😋 you should try it one day it's gorgeously yammy ❤️

  3. I love how good you are with your hands, like the way you set your spoon on the edge of the pot. you're obviously very experienced.

  4. Hello, this is the Naked World History Team of the Korean broadcasting station tvn. Can I use the video as a broadcast material?

  5. You ALWAYS take ownership Iranian and Turkish food. Greek dolmades? Even the etymology of the word is Turkish. Who are you kidding? The word dolma comes from stuffing(doldurmak) something. Produce a little something of your own. Thanks to us, you are eating good food. 🇹🇷 Not yours.

  6. den légetai ntolmadákia, fáe ta gemistá pou éklepsan apó tous Tourkous yani bunun adı dolma dolmades değil türklerden çalınmış dolma yiyin anca

  7. I started TRYING to make dolmas in the 70s. They never turned out. They never got fully cooked. It never occurred to me to partially cook rice ahead of time. I gave up. Thank you.

  8. Okay so now I'm watching the end of this video. This the last one! However I do thank the Power that I found you. Since this is a year after, I'm sure you made the best decision. You've got a good spirit.

  9. Laura your cooking skills and energy are amazing. I will definitely try your recipe. We call this sarma and it is my favorite. We finish it the same day. it doesn't make it to the refrigerator. I made an episode with my Mom's recipe (the armenian traditional sarma) . Every nationality makes sarma/dolma, but every nationality uses different herbs and spices. 🥰😘👩‍🍳

  10. Laura should try Turkish Dolma pslllllllll…it is so delicious. Turkish meals are so so delicious ,Fantastic,

  11. Lovely presentation Laura! I've done most of your recipes and loved them!! The older women in my family, placed the dolmades vertically and crammed the pot with them. Of course, they placed a plate on top to stop having the rice all over the place. You can also put a batch in the freezer provided that the rice is parboiled.
Good luck with your new steps!

  12. The name of this dishes are Turkish. , dolma : filling, sarma: wrap. dolma ( turkish word ) + -des ( greek ) dolma+des, sarma+des, baklava+des, lokum + ades ( turkish delight )… γέμισμα gemisma meaning filling… Don't you think it's interesting? They add Greek suffixes to Turkish food names then they own it.
