Very nice but a true Greek dressing requires fresh lemon juice not vinegar. Of course most restaurants would not use that as it would be more costly.
How long can you keep this dressing out for with out having to refrigerate it?
Can this be stored in a plastic container. I don't have glass.
So she adds turkish oregano…..!!!!!!wtf!!!!
We have the best Greek salad, the best salad we've ever eaten, when we visit Fortworth, TX. I have tried yo duplicate it to no avail. I will try this one. Thank you!
Excellent recipe! I would only use 3/4 of red wine vinegar unless you like a lot of acidity. I used a little balsamic vinegar as well half and half. Thank you for sharing
you do not use turkish oregano on fabulous greek dressing.
I thought it was perfect!
This made so much that I used some as a marinade for chicken that I grilled and it was a huge hit! The dressing was good as well.
What the hell is this???????????
I have always wanted to make my own dressing. This is the absolute BEST. Added one squezzed lemon juice. Yummylicious! Thank you so much.
can we use regular oregano
Always a hit when I make it for gatherings, thank you!!!
Made it tonight for my family and it was a hit.thank you.
French mustard added to Greek dressing but people are more worried about the Turkish oregano.
Dear lord,You DON'T add salt to the oil. You need to dissolve salt in the vinegar, and after this you add the oil.
Watching them add "Turkish"oregano to a Greek Salad. These two groups have fought over less
I love this dressing! So yummy and easy to make!! And in very picky about Greek dressing!
makes 2 cups
3/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp each: garlic powder, oregano*, basil* *[dried]
1 1/2 tsp each: salt, pepper, onion powder, dijon mustard… whisk well
1 cup red wine vinegar; whisk again
Way too much vinegar
Merci beaucoup !!! 😍

Looked good until the Dijon–mustard allergy at our house!
Just finished. Delicious. Added two teaspoons of fresh garlic, for taste. But this recipe is far superior, than anything you can buy off the shelf. Thank you, for posting.
Can you use white wine vinegar?
What's d promotion of oil and vinegar
It looks really good, but for my taste I'd only use 1/2 cup red wine vinegar maybe less.
Where to buy "turkish Oregano'?? in the stores? not amazon. Thank You!

Your oregano pronunciation is criminal

Did you used qurat or 2 cup measuring mug for oil and vinegar?
maybe instead of 1 1/2 tbsp of salt and pepper, do one tbsp of each and it should be enough… it was to much condiments in my opinion
