Very interesting and informative!! Looks delicious!! Thx for the posting.
Nice music soundtrack on this one. Thanks for the unique take on fish, looks great.
I've been looking for a fish dish to go with a middle eastern/mezze style dinner for friends and I think this might be it. Can't wait to give it a go. Shukrun Jazilan.
mmmm… me want to try sum,
question- would tilapia be suitable for this recipe?
@CookingHalal I guess so!
That looks rather good (apart from the fresh tomato as I am highly allergic to them!)
Titli, I was wondering about chili powders. You can get chili powder at the grocery store here in the US, but it's not bright red like yours. Are they interchangeable or do you have to get more of a red Middle Eastern/Indian chili powder for these recipes?
@inuyashaxx Not all chilli powders are the same 🙂 In my cupboard I have a variety of chilli powders from mild Guajillo chilli to hot Chipotle chilli powder. For Middle Eastern and Asian dishes I use a hot chilli powder which is sold in Asian stores or even at most of our local supermarkets.
Dice it finely, then you should be able to mash it with a fork.
There's something about Lebanese cuisine that really makes me attracted to it.
Ramadan Mubarak. Making this tonight inshallah
