This is the perfect batch of homemade chocolate chip granola bars. They’re the ideal portable snack that strikes a balance between sweet and salty. But most importantly – they nail that chewy texture we all know and love in a classic granola bar.
You know I always look for ways to give a healthy, homemade spin to packaged foods. So today, it was about time I made my own chewy chocolate granola bar recipe! And one that’s naturally gluten-free (of course). These healthy granola bars are the perfect snack idea for the afternoon munchies or back-to-school lunch boxes. Enjoy!

Well I finally made these last week and they are literally, hands-down, the best bar I've ever had. I stored them in a glass container and the bits that were left over on the bottom I dumped on top of my yogurt. I will be making another batch tomorrow for my meal prep!
With what can I substitute puffed rice? I can't buy it in my country
I make the same bars but with tahini instead of the almond butter
We should toast those oats and puffed rice a bit before mixing…even if being baked.
Wouldn’t their be a high sugar content with chocolate chips and half a cup of honey ? How low is the carbs and sugars per bar?
Looks super delicious 👍
Excellent! Thank you!!!! Fast and easy explanation! 🙌🏻👍🏻❤️
We eat puffed rice everyday in Bengal India
No sugar no oil
I've tried maany granola recipes and this one is for sure my favorite!. I skip the chocolate chips and it's still deliciously amazing!!
For some reason, YouTube is not telling me about your videos! Just came across this and I am so grateful for it🎉 my kitchen had been sliding back in to purchasing processed foods during a big move out of state. NO MORE! I have reined it in and this is the perfect recipe to help me do that. THANK YOU!
Can I put them into freezer to speed up😂?
Thanks for the recipe. What can I replace the puffed rice with?
What happens if I use rolled oats instead of quick cooking oats?
What’s the temperature for oven baking?
I absolutely love this recipe ❤
Can this stay in a jar outside of the ref? For how long? Thanks!
Thank you for this recipe, just my only question was if you can make these without baking, i’m probably going to make these tonight and was really looking forward for a response from someone
This looks delicious! What is the best way to store them and how long will they keep?
Honestly, this is the first time that a recipe on YouTube actually blew me away and broke every expectations I had! It’s so balanced, tasty and easy to do.
I’ve been cooking for ever and there’s always some sort of adjustment that can be made to recipes and or things to change to your own taste, but this one, I’ll always gonna follow it to a T religiously 😂.
It’s already my 3rd batch in 2 days, thank you so much!
What would be your suggestion for coconut oil substitute? As with so many recipes, coconut oil seems to be a staple ingredient. Unfortunately, I am allergic to coconut. 😢
I made these today and was very impressed with this recipe. It's perfect and full of flavor. Once baked and cooled I got very clean cuts. My trick to that was using parchment on top of the unbaked mixture and used a duplicate pan to compress it , then removed the parchment and baked as usual. I'll be making these from now on and will never buy overpriced, store bought bars again especially since I always have these ingredients in my pantry.
How to store after their made
Oven temperature please?
How about these nuts?
Hi! I noticed that you said no rolled oats— is there a reason why you’re using quick oats instead?
