My wonderful take on Mississippi pot roast lol….

    1 (3-4 pounds) chuck roast
    1 packet ranch dressing mix
1 packet au jus gravy mix
    1/4 cup butter
    4-5 pepperoncini peppers

  3. Props to the slow cooker, after a clean up it’s going to be up and running again. Shame about the meat tho

  4. Harry_Buttock

I’d go ahead and put it in the oven for a few hours. Looks like the roast is a lost cause though.

You can always get another one!
And by that I mean a new child 🤣

  6. Thank goodness junior is okay. But…

When I was a child in hospital isolation, I shared a ward with a young toddler who had pulled down a pot of something down on themselves. Cried non-stop. Had their arms bandaged out straight. I’ve never forgotten.

Don’t let kids climb in the kitchen. Not on cupboards, especially not near the stove. Please (for my nightmares I still get).

this is a horrific loss but at least your lid survived!

Thank you for providing today’s pro birth control lesson. You’re doing great work.

  10. Brush it off, finish cooking it. nothin wrong with that baby

  11. themeatman90

I’d throw it right back in the pot and finish it

  14. zsdr56bh

  15. Le9iemecatastrophe

I’d cook the 5yo for dinner, but then I’m the type to tell my cat I’ll make slippers out of him one if he doesn’t cut the shit!

  16. connivingbitch

It’s still good as long as no one else saw this happen.

This is one where you need to be firm, what if that had been hot! It would have meant a burn unit and months of recovery and possible skin grafts. It’s a do it and I will take every toy you own away moment!

  18. Zeke-of-Denver

The good side being, he didn’t break the crockpot

  19. Ok-Clock2002

They took it and THREW IT TO THE GROUND!!!!

  20. saliva134

    Mississippi Not Roast

Also please disregard all these jabronis telling you that you’re not looking after your kid. They either don’t have kids or they’re forgetting all the times they or their kids did stupid stuff.

  26. TortoiseHawk

What did you throw away first? The roast or the kid?

  27. Artistic_Exam7676

My condolences.. I, too, have a wild 5 year old.

  28. Every-Cook5084

Amazed the bowl didn’t shatter. I’ve broken one 😝
