I describe the taste as an unsalted tortilla chip with a jalapeno slice on top and spritz of pineapple juice. Lacks the saltiness you expect from Doritos but it might be good with some salsa or guac.

The pineapple is a bit much really. A little less of the pineapple and a little more of the jalapeño would’ve been perfect.

The flavor was overwhelming artificial sweet pineapple, no jalapeno, the most foul and disgusting chip I’ve ever eaten in my life. I suffered through 3 chips and slammed the whole bag into the trash can

I was so excited for these, I’m known to have to buy like every new chip flavor just to try it (makes dieting really hard sometimes). They are probably the worst doritos I’ve tried. The pineapple came through as perfumey, the jalapeno was grassy but not in a pleasant way I normally expect from a jalapeno. I think the idea is solid and they just need to tweak it. It’d be great if they dialed back the perfume and added it to a bbq flavor.
