  1. An awesome recipe! I just made it for dinner. I doubled the sauce and added more potatoes and carrots. I will make it again. A dinner for 8 and less than $4 a serving!

  2. I have made this exact recipe so many times, it’s so good. My wife doesn’t like beef stew, she’s more of a pot roast Gal, but that just means more for me! Great recipe.

  3. I’ve made this before, and as we speak, I’m making again. It’s delicious! Perfect for winter time.

  4. What I love about this tutorial is it's short, gives the necessary information and leaves the viewer to imagine and come up with their own each unique version. You can tell she's gone to school for this and has a great understanding in terms of teaching the viewer but letting each bring their own version

  5. I already knew how to make beef stew…But I tried this recipe and It was easier and the wine (which I never tried) made this stew way better than grandma's. Thanks for this tested recipe, my wife loved it!

  6. I've watched this video and used the method/timings before and it was gorgeous and so much easier than transferring it to oven, using up more electric. I'm doing it again today as it went so well last time!

  7. I started making this, then saw that I need broth. Now I gotta make broth before making stew. Better off making Carbonada, is easier and taste better

  8. Nice ,but she fails to mention that you have to keep adding water for the low boil simmer, otherwise your boiling thick flour water. It does have nice flavor. I added Mrs dash to the pot because I didn’t have thyme,so it gave it an extra flavor boost which did a good flavoring.

  9. Great! Instead of wine some fresh or a tin of chopped tomatoes will do the trick, instead of wine with a stock cube added .
However I’m going to try this recipe as shown, after all, if it’s a good stew why change it?

  10. My child doesnt like spicy food so im trying this out – halfway through the recipe and just tasted the broth – omgoodness! Its heavenly 😢 ive been so frustrated lately as my child wont eat my food eveb when i put only a pinch of chilli powder in it only. So im ecstatic i foudn this recipe and hope it turns out great.
