Just went to Cuantas Hamburguesas. It was a saturday right at opening time and there wasn’t a line. This is the new burger truck by Cuantos. We got the americana burger for 7 bucks which comes with a double patty, and the Sincronizada one which comes with a patty, hot dog, bacon, and ham for 7.75. Also a side of fries for 2 dollars. The burgers here are great. It reminds me of Bad Larry’s, it’s a perfectly ooey gooey burger and flavorful. seasoned perfectly. loved the sesame bun. I do prefer the Americana one. The fries weren’t the best, and i hoped they would be crispier but at 9 dollars for burger and fries i’m not complaining. The entire meal before tip was only 16 dollars for 2 burgers and a side of fries. I would put this in my top burgers of Austin tier.

I went right after opening, got the campechana burger and it was DELICIOUS. My fries were very crispy. Zero complaints for an $11 meal with tip, would easily have paid more. Goddamnit I love living across the street from Arbor.
I’m hearing from people their favorite ones were the hawaiian one and the campechana. Looks like i have to go back soon lol

For those who occassionally ask about this Cuantos has announced they use no seed oils at the Hamburger truck. Fries are done in beef tallow and mayo is made with avocado oil.
I believe the taco truck is going no seed oil as well.
Cuantas is one of my favorite tacos in the city. Looking forward to trying this. Arbor Food Park has some great options.

I plan on stopping by this food trailer park before an event next week at the museum right by. Been craving that fish taco from Ensenada and of course I want a Cuantos taco while I’m there. Now I’m thinking maybe I should try this. Some solid options in that park.
Had lunch at that park yesterday, didn’t realize Cuantas didn’t open until 5pm! Jealous!

Just had this today and ngl, it’s definitely one of the better smashburgers I’ve had in Austin. The fries weren’t too bad either. Will definitely be coming back here again
