Cheeba Hut would be too obvious…

  2. Lake_Speed

I dunno about the other location, but tucci’s off 71 is where I consistently run into the highest employees. Awesome sandwiches, so keep up the good work everyone

Came here for Thundercloud, not disappointed cuz it is indeed Thundercloud

There used to be a pizza place tucked behind the intersection at Oltorf and Lamar. They always won the “most high” competition… one time we picked up our pizza and brought it home only to find they forgot to cut the damn thing. Just one whole pizza.

There was an Indonesian restaurant out in Buda back in the early 70s called The Jasmine Isle, and the entire staff from fore to aft would be so zonked it was nothing short of amazing that the whole shebang didn’t unravel catastrophically…..but it never did.

I’ve 100 percent served people coffee high. It really puts you in the zone on the espresso machine.

Waffle House at 3am. The dude that came to serve us last time had to pause to look at his nametag before he introduced himself. The food was pretty good, and waffle house has always been a breakfast with a floor show.

  8. It’s Austin. The correct answer is every other restaurant.

I mean, for Pete’s sake, I watched my community college professor get stoned with his other students in the 1990’s.

Thundercloud on 12th. Those folks are high as shit at all times. Even more than compared to other TC’s.

Back in the day the original Salvation Pizza would have to be mine.

Freebirds. The closer to campus the higher the percentage

South side flying pizza on E Cesar Chavez. The kid taking orders and answering the phones was so so out of it that someone else grabbed the phone out of his hand and started taking orders. We actually quit going because our order was almost always messed up.

Conan’s. Have a friend who worked there years ago. She was the only one who wasn’t high, apparently.

  14. sunshineandrainbow62

Thundercloud and that wasn’t even hard.

  15. GoodArm6210

Austin’s pizza ! just go to the back door!

My ex and I went to the old Kerby Lane off Jollyville.

She ordered iced tea. The waitress brought a glass of ice water and a large selection of tea bags from which to choose…

In the middle of the lunch rush the kid taking my order was so high I had to coach him through taking my order: “Now submit the order on the screen. You need me to pay you now so take my card and run it. Okay now hand me the recipt and a soda cup.”

    Of course, it was ThunderCloud.

Cherrywood Coffee House. I still remember the cashier stoned out of her gourd.

  19. Solid_Owl

    Highland Lanes

    it’s in the name.

    That’s branding.

I can’t believe I don’t see Magnolia Cafe yet. I’ve known many people who worked there and they were all high, all the time.

  21. waterlo0o0o

I am so happy we all agree that it’s Thundercloud.

  22. willtodd

Brooklyn Pie Co. next to Lala’s. they have solid pizza and a nice guy working there who was just obliterated the last time I visited 😆

  23. hardballwith1517

Its always thundercloud. One time I went in and they were playing music that sounded like that scene from Apocalypse Now where they are shooting mortars trying to blow up that bridge in the dark. I told the dude “offend me with the onions” and he loved it.

  24. wolverineismydad

Immediately said Thundercloud, glad to see the people agree. Had the best sandwich of my life there made by a guy who was definitely a wizard.
