Perfectly moist and crispy succulent lamb souvlaki!!

The most important step in making the perfect lamb souvlaki
is nothing else but the marinade! For this amazing lamb souvlaki
recipe, the meat is first marinated to soak up all the
wonderful mediterranean flavours and then grilled,
to get all crunchy, nicely coloured and juicy.

2 lbs (900 g) leg of lamb, cut into chunks
6 tbls extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves of garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
1 red onions
2 tsp dried oregano
Handful fresh thyme
1/2 tsp sweet paprika powder
1/2 tsp cumin
2 tsp salt

Marinade time: overnight
Cooking time: 5 min on each side

Brilliant again mr skewer reminds me of an holiday in Cyprus with a few friends and this old man made us lamb, chicken, and pork souvlaki cut into big chunks and cooked it on a large Cypriot rotating bbq for a long time, when he served us the mixture of meats with all the condiments it was the best meal we had on that holiday, still raining here mate can't wait to try my new bbq stay safe mate 👍👏🍺🍺

  5. das ganze rezept ist großartig! paprika wird jedoch niemals in einem original griechischem (nicht kreta od. zypern) verwendet. bitte nicht verwechseln!
