I really enjoy italian food, and we will go to a 10 day trip to Italy on thursday. I want to get some original guancale and pecorino for my carbonara, because I had to use parmesan and hungarian bacon for this one. But it was delicious anyway. Can’t wait to eat everything in Italy!

apart from the shape, that is clearly wrong, that pasta looks suspiciously like egg pasta to me.

Looks absolutely gorgeous. I normally wouldn’t go with an egg pasta on carbonara but that looks amazing.
Carbonara is better with dry pasta because you need the starches from the pasta to make the sauce
