went here last night and loved everything we got and the whole experience. The chef is chef Kiminobu Saito, formerly of Nobu Malibu.

Our favorites were:
Albacore sashimi & cucumber salad
Unagi & Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice
Any of the hand rolls but we really loved the scallop, toro, yellowtail & lobster
The donburi bowls were a nice addition to the menu too. Like a Japanese poke bowl. If you’re in the mood for something other than hand rolls.

Really high quality fish, great service & super cute ambiance. Nice outdoor patio too that’s elevated from the sidewalk.

So glad you posted this, this place came up on my feed recently and I forgot to save it and totally forgot the name. This looks like a must try! That crispy rice unagi looks absolutely amazing

looks like a really charming spot, we’ll add it to our list too

Mofos can’t even be bothered to cut sushi rolls now?

  4. I stopped in a few months ago and really liked this spot. I’ve never been to Kazunori so I don’t have that to compare it to, but the six roll set was excellent. Nothing mind blowing, but well priced and very satisfying.

This place is great to satisfy the handroll itch but I think KazuNori and Yunomi are better. Seaweed is also good but way overpriced.

for some reason I thought the birds were a crying kirby at first glance.

  7. That first photo looks like someone’s apartment kitchen at first glance to me lol

  8. I live less than 1 mile here and I’ve been multiple times. A little pricey but they are so good. I think I’ve tried almost everything on the menu.

The bowls are not bad as well and you can easily get full with them. I hope business is doing well because the last two times I’ve eaten there it’s not as busy on a Thursday and Friday night.

  9. Ah man now more people are gonna start coming here! Jk, this place is so much more convenient than going to kazunori
