These brussels sprouts are a GAME CHANGER and we GUARANTEE you will fall in LOVE with them! Simple and easy to make at home. So much plant-based goodness! Even the pickiest of eaters will eat these!
Crispy Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
1 pound of fresh brussels sprouts
1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce – see video and recipe in link below
3 tablespoons agave nectar (can also use maple syrup if desired)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
– Preheat oven to 385 degrees
– Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper (can use foil, being sure to spray it well so they don’t stick)
– Trim the ends of the brussels sprouts and gently wash them
– Cut each brussels sprouts into quarters
– Save any leaves that fall off – these are the best and crispiest parts!
– Mix together the remaining ingredients in a large bowl
– Toss the cut brussels sprouts into the bowl and stir to cover all of them well
– Lay the brussels sprouts out in an even layer on the cookie sheet
– Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes until browned and crispy, turning them halfway through
– Enjoy!
Will keep well in the refrigerator for up to 5 days – IF they last that long!!!
