    Seafood counter canned oysters = 5.19.
    Discount bread store hoagie buns = 1.89
    For the veggies, I hit the salad bar and made a tiny little container of shredded lettuce, pickles, lemon slices, and tomato slices = $3.20.
    I guestimated the veggie oil at 3.00.
    I breaded with oysters with a bit of flour and paprika.
    The “remoulade” was Zax sauce (a condiment from a place called Zaxby’s).

    That comes to $3.32.
    I added about $1.25 for expenses like gasoline to get to the store and electricity to cook it on the stove.

    All in all, about $4.65 for four of these poboys!
