My fellow onion lovers. What do you use this for? I’ve never tried it.

That doesn’t look quite as caramelized as what I would like. But, what do I use it for? Mostly just shoving it directly in my mouthhole. Sometimes to put on burgers or steaks.

Depends on how much sugar is in it.
Use like relish or in cheese and crackers situations esp with sharp and funky stuff.
It’s savory applesauce. Very versatile.

I’d try it on burgers or fish sandwich. I make a caramelized onion chutney that we eat on both of those.

Sandwiches. Excellent on a burger or grilled cheese. Bacon jam is lovely too

I’ve used this exact product for making salad dressings. Add vinegar and oil and it helps emulsify them together for the dressing (since i hate mustard and mayo).

Get some sardines in spicy tomato sauce, mash them up with a bit of mayo and lemon juice, spread on toast and put this on top.

Special ham sandwiches my sister makes on little rolls that have a poppy-seed sauce on top.

Spread with crackers and cheese. Spread on one half of bread when making grilled cheese. Meat glaze. There’s a lot. Use on a spread for any sandwich, really.

Goat cheese and onion jam tarts using croissant dough. Last night I made a goat cheese and onion jam omelette with it. Ive also read using it on pasta with some spinach and parmesan is good. Will try that next.
