




My first time smoking pork shoulder on my new traeger turned out phenomenal!
I got the “swift” boneless package from my local Costco.
I did about 12 hours (no wrap) @ 225 with a 1 hour rest for these guys, spritzing with apple juice for every hour starting at hour 3 through hour 10.
I smoked some thick cut bacon during the smoke to put in some Mac and cheese, and then smoked that all up too for about a hour.
It was a big hit, I’m not sure I’ll be “crock-potting” this cut anymore…
