Sauce is from Gen Korean bbq and they use it on both their rice cakes and Korean fried chicken. They label it as a sweet and spicy sauce. Unsure if it contains gochujang because of how glossy/transparent it is.

It’s hard to say but it looks like sweet chili sauce.

Looks like Thai sweet chili sauce. But since it’s korean food it’s probably a hot ttobbokki kinda sauce.

I gotta ask my buddy who works at a Gen if he knows the recipe, but I’m guessing something like corn starch + sugar (or maybe even corn syrup) + soy sauce + chili flakes + rice vinegar.
