i combined instant ramen + mac and cheese powder and topped it off with some cucumbers and red onions that sat in an ice bath to give it that extra cronch. nice green onions with some salt sprinkled on it and finally garnished with sesame seeds. the cucumbers and red onions helped balance out the boldness of the sardines and the cheesy noodles. as always, the sardines remain the star of the show.

There are numerous brands of packaged ramen that are cheese flavored or “cheesy” if you have na Asian grocery store in the vicinity for one step cheesy ramen. Seems popular with Korean brands.
