  1. Beef hash is utterly repulsive to the tastebuds, but I'm sick with a cold and stuffy nose right now and a can of this junk is the only thing in my cupboard, so I figure I won't be able to taste it anyway. Thanks for the help (I'm a terrible cook). I'm going to use butter instead of oil.

  2. I just bought Hormel corned beef hash and was so disappointed. I didn't watch a video before trying to cook it. At first no oil because the instructions didn't tell me to put in oil. It stuck to the pan, I added a little oil snd stirred it in hopes that it wouldn't stick and it just NEVER got brown, let alone crisp. It was unbelievable. Just cooked and cooked. Hash mush. Waste of money.

  3. You added sooo much oil when you don’t need to add anything the cans are very high fat- it’s like you added butter to butter

  4. Nice,. Believe it or not when I do in cast iron pan, I add butter, chyanne pepper, garlic powder and salt 🥺, makes it crispy corners, and even more unhealthy 😢, but even out of the can it's so hook one get the crispy edges and some char, can't eat it just heated or microwave… Appreciate it tyvm

  5. Thank you so much! I tried making this years ago and it was never as good as a “well done” order at restaurants. Now I know I was just moving it too often. Turned out perfect. I’ll think of you every time I make this.

  6. Never heard of this til I deployed over seas, and when I ate some OMG. it was crispy and So flavorful.

  7. Thank you 🙏🏽…to think all these years the culprit was simply me stirring it…all I had to do was not touch it
