Was left this by my late grandfather… Drink or keep?
Hi folks, I’ve inherited this from my late grandfather and am wondering what to do with it. It’s always been stored on its side and under the stairs (uk) so relatively cool 13-16c.

Relatively basic wine from a decent vintage. Just drink.

‘14 was a good enough vintage for the right bank, an improvement on ‘13 but not as good as the 6 years that followed. This is a fairly basic wine despite the GC. I would drink it this year and enjoy it. Perhaps a good one for the Christmas period?

I know you didn‘t ask but if you don‘t have any real record of how it was stored, transported and where it was purchased its resale value is practically 0 so you might as well drink it /s
