Had to do a u-turn on my way home when I noticed the new Bouldin Acres on Braker is open for business. It’s just east of the Domain and Q2 Stadium. Friday was their first day open.
One difference between this and the south Austin location is the kitchen here is all in-house, no food trucks. CM Smokehouse does all the cooking. Looks like four pickle ball courts and dogs welcomed in all areas.
If you come make sure your headlights and taillights are all working, watch your speed and all that stuff. DPS troopers hound this part of Braker like flies on 💩.

Why is this area highway patrol city??? I drive past here all the time and the HP Tahoes are always creeping around
I went for their grand opening yesterday and they were crazy slammed but they seemed to handle it well. Wasn’t hard to get drinks and food. They also didn’t have any draft beer (yet) but I assume that’s coming soon
Burgers start at $19? That’s more than HopDoddy gourmet burgers lol. This town is insane
So I guess its pickleball now. I remember when back when whiffleball was all the rage.
The one off South Lamar is a douche fest. Pickleball triehards, drunk parents, and arrogant tech bro’s galore. The food and drink prices are ridiculous too.
