I know it’s kind of dog shit but I don’t have a lot of money to spend on this hobby and I’m still new to it. I got the grinder to grind fine enough for espresso by shimming it with aluminum foil. It actually grinds way too fine for my pressurized portafilter. I have a bottomless one and a better tamper on the way. The tamper that came with the machine is even worse than I could imagine and the tamper that I found literally on the side of the road is too large.

Not judging. I don’t know anything about grinder or machine.
I mean, I know it could be better, and so do you, but seems like you’re able to tweak at least the grinder into doing acceptable.
A non-pressurised basket probably also helps. So the question that stand is what brand you use
