
Got myself a ridiculously cheap whole eye of round. Trimmed it and sliced it into 10 good thick steaks. Going to cook them at 56C for the next 48 hours or so and got them all cozily wrapped in old towels for some extra insulation. Aiming at having some nice tender steaks ready to go from the freezer than cost me about C$2.50 a piece.
