This is the ultimate chocolate shake recipe and is sure to give you the café style experience at home!

– 300 ml good quality vanilla ice cream
– 2 Tbsp chocolate sauce
– ½ Cup chilled milk
– 4 Ice cubes
– 1 Tsp sugar (optional)

    Shouldn't we be using chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla? Most thick shake brands use chocolate ice cream in it.

    So my friend wanted to make this with me and she said we don’t have chocolate sauce but for people who don’t know what it is chocolate sauce is chocolate syrup so you can make the chocolate sauce with the recipe she has or you can use chocolate syrup I recommend the chocolate sauce but when I made this the second time I used chocolate syrup so if your in a rush use chocolate syrup!

    The Vanilla ice cream has a different taste when compared to the chocolate ice cream. If you combine chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream, it will produce a milder flavor. For a very chocolaty taste, you can add chocolate ice cream instead. Also just adding milk and chocolate ice cream will weaken the choco taste cause the milk is unflavored. You will still need the syrup/choco sauce. The syrup/sauce is the key. Some add choco powder but it gives a chalky taste.
