Hi all. Making shotgun shells for the first time. I tried to steam the shells quick over boiling water (5 min max) then filled them with cream cheese, sausage, shredded cheese and jalapeños mixture. Placed in the fridge overnight and this is what they looked like this morning when I was preparing to wrap them in bacon. What did I do wrong?

I would have wrapped them in bacon right away to hold them together
You should have wrapped in bacon.
how do you fill your shot gun shells, I got a cheap gun for making beef jerky makes filling them so easy! and cost like 28$
no steaming necessary. Wrap with bacon necessary. Leave in fridge a minimum of 4 hours that would soften the pasta enough.

I make them for any big event, and never had this happen. I stuff them, wrap them, and rest them in the fridge overnight.
