This is one of my favorite days of the year. Not even a huge football fan. Don’t get me wrong, Redzone will be on all day while checking fantasy scores, but I’m here for the food. Dry brine going on the wings this morning for smoke at 2pm. Going to turn these into some smoked garlic parm wings this afternoon. Italian beef is beefin in the crockpot. Improvising a layer dip with homemade guac, jalapeño ranchero sauce, cheese, salsa and crispy chorizo. And of course some basic buff chx dip. Did I mention the breakfast Stromboli we just finished off? Hope you all have a great day!

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

I grew up with crock pot Italian Beef as a standard family meal (Midwest raised) but have been marinating (no pun intended) on how to make a smoked version myself. If I do it with success I’ll post it. Thinking low and slow smoke, then slow and low crock pot or instant pot depending on temp danger zone.

We also save the jus and freeze it to keep the Italian beef going like a sourdough starter haha.

    Have fun!
