Nice !! I made these yesterday but used middle eastern kufta spices which made it a bit "heavy" and used my Airfryer. I'm going to use your recipie next time because it looks better and easier on the guts with all these herbs 😊
One of my absolute favourite dishes.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these! I'm drowning in drool, 😂 😂 😂.
Jenn 💖
How long did you deep fry the meatballs for?

I can’t wait for Lent to be over so I can indulge myself with these meatball. My favorite mezedes – Kolokithokeftedes and these meatballs!!!!!
These, with some tzatziki and salad in a pita, are amazing. Thanks!
I love these meatballs! I have made them and they are great! These are so versatile – alone, with sauce and pasta or sauce and rice, etc. Great for parties or dinner. Thank you once again!!! I love your recipes so much!
My man. Do you know how much Greek Olive Oil costs in Denmark ?? Can't put so much in the pan 😥😥
Πάω να τα φτιάξω τώρα. Just have to 😁😁
I think you should try baking your meatballs instead of frying. Also add some onion salt.
Kala! I like to crumble some feta into the mixture. Yummy!
Hi Ken,
This recipe is similar to my family's Mexican Abondiga (meatball) Soup recipe. Same ingredients only we add dried Mexican Oregano, freshly chopped mint and rice in the meatballs. Instead of frying, we cooking in a light broth.
I agree with you on the mint, it gives it a "wow" factor. 🤗😋
I lived in Athens (Glyphada) for three years. I ate daily in Greek restaurants. All over. I never once had fried kefthedakia. They were always grilled. I cant imagine fried. And there was lamb in the mix.
Only one problem with these…..I could eat them ALL DAY!! 🤣
….And another recipe I'm making today! Thank you again!
Amazing recipe! I ate so many of them….

TROMERO HROMA MAVRI NIHTA STA VOUNA
What greek oil you use? Thank you.
am making these today. My mom always put bread crumbs and soaked bread. I am using plain bread crumbs but I will put less now that I saw this
I just made this ror my second time today. Four days ago I made it for the first time and everyone loved them big time. The only thing I added was bread crumbs. Thank you so much for this delicious recipe. I grew up on keftedis, and I finally learned how to make them.
You can fry like that with olive oil? I thought the temp would be too high
