Made Bernardin’s apple pie jam recipe. Followed it to a T. I had some that didn’t fit in the jars and cooled it and tasted it. It seemed really loose when I wS portioning it but it cooled to be pretty thick..
Are the bubbles an issue?

Was there a lot of foam when you cooked the jam? This can happen if you don’t remove it. It’s strictly a cosmetic effect, so there’s nothing to worry about.
